Care of Your Salt Lamp
Rock salt lamps and tea lights are hygroscopic ** due to their mineral make up and should not be situated in any place subject to high humidity or water. Should the lamp become wet, gentle warming will re-dry the salt crystals to their normal state. Switching on the bulb or lighting the candle should be sufficient but care must be taken to ensure that the electric fittings are completely dry.
